PFF CONGRESS ON THURSDAY
Lahore, 30 Dec 2009 : The Vision Asia Project, introduction of the men’s inaugural National Futsal Championship, PFF Cup and National School Football Championship will be analyzed when the Congress of Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), chaired by President Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat, will convene in Lahore’s FIFA Football House on Thursday, 31 December for its second of the two meeting of the year. “The agenda features a wide range of topics, including discussions on the AFC and PFF competitions that have taken place from June-December 2009 and those to come in the future, as well as the football activities related to eight member associations,” said PFF Secretary General Lt.Col ® Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi who added that 2 PM Congress will be preceded by Executive Committee (EXCO) Meet at 11 AM.
Following
the entrance of Pakistan in Asian Youth Championships of U16 and U19 in 2011, 11th
South Asian Games and KRL earning berth in 6th AFC President’s Cup,
the House will be given an update on the current status of preparations for the
coming assignments.
House is to focus on improving its administration, strengthening clubs and
boosting development as part of the Vision Pakistan project to raise the
standard of football in the country. In addition, the members will receive an
update on the preparations for the domestic events Pakistan Premier League, PFF
Leagues and National events under the age of 14 and Women’s third Club
Championship and 6th National Women Championship.
There will be reports from manager and coaches on the competition of National
team and age-group abroad as well as Pakistan WAPDA’s
superb rhythm at AFC President’s Cup (Nepal)
which will also be reviewed.
